Off the Record wasn't born because I had it all figured out. I created it because I didn’t. Like so many of you, I learned by doing the work, burning out, and bouncing back.

Hi, I’m Gab Ferree, and I've been leading communications at brand name companies for 15 years. I navigated from individual contributor at a startup to VP Global Comms at Bumble in six years, and learned a lot of hard won lessons along the way. I built Off the Record to share these tools, tips, and insights that helped me grow fast, lead with confidence, and stay sane. It’s the community, insight, and support I always wish I had in comms.
